I will get a picture of the brown spots. When I was taking pictures the other day I saw this on my Silver scrolls. I was focused on healthy heuchera not ones with diseases. My understanding is it's a fungus that is heuchera specific. I will research and get back to you. Seems like removal of the top 1 inch of soil was involved, spray and removal of infected leaves. The brown spots are spores. I does not kill the plant but weakens it.
"Wet years" When do I not have a wet year! This year was the worst! Just a comment and not as bad as the weather down south. They have had the worst.

Well, that's a bummer. Haven't seen that before on heuchera. I sure hope you're able to get it under control soon. Keep us posted.

I cut all the infected leaves off, then spray with fugicide.
Not pretty! I removed a thin layer of soil and spray the soil with fungicide as well. Usually does the trick.

Do we know what causes this fungus?

Yes, lack of air movement by planting to close, cool wet weather. Water on the leaves.

How about spraying heucheras with fungicide before it appears? I am especially interested in pistachio, which I haven't purchased yet, but am pretty discouraged with the news.

Neem oil has worked for me.

I thought of neem oil as an insecticide. I should read the labels more carefully.
