Bulbs
Don't go crazy watering them until they start producing leaves. You only need to water them lightly every other day while the bulb is germinating. Once they leaf out than they'll be needing water on a regular basis. Thumbs up

Mine were waiting for me when I got home last night. They are all potted up and resting in the shade. My garden is too cold for them, so I'll dig the pots this fall and overwinter in a warm garage. They are HUGE and I'm so looking forward to watching them grow! Hurray!

I planted mine so that the tops were just at surface level. Then I covered that with 2" of wood chip mulch.

Bulbs
The most important thing to remember is to not water them to much while the bulb is germinating.
Once they start leafing out it's almost impossible to over water them as long as the soil drains real well.
The bulbs Do Not like having there feet wet, meaning that they're sitting in water. That can surely cause the bulbs to rot.
