They are neat!! Look like berries, no?
Here's a lily trying to bloom despite the beetles eating it. Courrier.

Those Gloriosas are very nice! Good show, Kathy. I've always liked Kordes rose.

I have finished the ornamental grass garden and will include a pic here. I worked on it Friday late and was at it again Saturday at first light. I finished about 2:00 PM in 90 degree heat but happy it was finally complete. Included are dwarf Pampas, white fountain, Muhley, Korean feather reed, Elliott's love and Arabesque zebra grasses. The end of the bed includes a tupelo tree and some native lantana that came from no where but is too nice to pull. Besides, the butterflies would object.

The avocados will be ready in late September. They do not ripen on the tree so I must pick them at a certain time of year and let them ripen in the kitchen. Different varieties ripen at different times of the year so it's best to know what you are growing. Mine are Brogdans.

Here is an update on my tree bougainvillea. It's about 6 feet tall and covered with blooms. Just over a year ago, it arrived from Logees in a 3 inch pot.

Beautiful pictures everyone. Love the grasses, Jim. I "take a walk" through everyones' garden each morning, which starts the day off on a positive note.
