A happy presentation. I've never grown double lates before, that is till this year when I grew Ice Cream.

Jmorth. I was supposed to get Ice Cream but it was sold out when I ordered. I am jealous.Do you have pix of yours?
These Pomponetts and Sunlovers are at the end of their bloom time and they spread well.
I dont grow many tulips, such a deer problem its hardly worth it.

I was disappointed in the pics from Ice Cream that I took but could envision positive possibilities should it grow in optional conditions. My were copped at the end of season sale at Break and Becky's. Once here I had to wait to mid to later January to get them in the ground, They made it (at least 3 of them. They are certainly something of an oddity.

When I saw the images from the growers I couldnt believe it. We know web pages are shopped.
I think its optimal look for ice cream is just before it fully opens.

I can see the look in your first picture.
Wish I had been able to get a few.

I have Lingere .Deer ate them to the ground but buds and stems hadnt emerged yet.
One bud was munched and it looks "bug eaten " They really are beautiful with a soft cream graduating to pink.
