I am mulling some ideas around that will require more capability than a simple spreadsheet, or the use of an ATP list. Plantstep is sometimes mentioned here, but looking at their website, even though they mention multiple plants, it seems heavily geared toward daylilies--I want something more broad-based. Maybe it is simply that most of the users are more heavily invested in daylilies. Does anyone use any other program? If so, what is your opinion of that software? Any information would be appreciated.

I use a Google spreadsheet.

What are some of the capabilities that you require?

I may want to manage sales in the future, so inventory, invoicing, and shipping controls would be useful. Right now, I want to be able to have photos I can see shown with each plant listed rather than having to click on a URL to view the plant/bloom. The next biggest thing, though, is I have several medical conditions and the ability to automate insertion of individual plant details is important to me. Right now, it looks as though Plantstep only offers that last feature for daylilies, but even having the feature for a limited category would be helpful. I think the biggest hesitation I have with Plantstep is concern that the slant toward daylilies would limit management/inclusion of other plants. Think I may be looking for too much in one package. Sticking tongue out
