Bought many years ago outside my bank (of all places), because the local garden club set up a table to raise some money. Just labeled "white iris".
I had also bought a dark purple one but left it behind somewhere along the way...(one of my former landlords gained some iris') Anyways...
I'd love an ID if possible.
Leaves top out at around 10 inches with most leaves around 8 to 9 inches. Base of white but has hints of violet. The very back of the beard has an orange bit. And it has (to my eye) greenish veins. We had heavy rains so the flowers may be a bit beaten up.

If we had no holes in our leaves we would have no butterflies!

No idea here either, sorry. But I think it is beautiful!

I love the way the "styles" project out! And the reticulations on the falls are pretty nice ,too! It doesn't look familiar to ne, either, but I'll do some looking ,later....Arlyn
