My pepper plants have bumps on them like tomatoes get. Are these roots starting to form? Can I plant them a little deeper? They have a 90 degree angle due to a lighting issue.

Hi Reid -- absolutely, peppers will form roots along their stems so go ahead and bury them. I do the same thing, especially when they grow crooked like that (pretty common for me!). Smiling

I've seen roots form on those bumps but nothing as prodigiously as tomatoes do. You can hoe up soil around the lower portion of the stems and it will indeed form new roots.
