It looks a bit like Alocasia Hilo Beauty,
https://www.google.be/search?q...

but my plant is found in the wild in a Brazilian rainforest.
In the 'Flora do Brasil', there is only Caladium bicolor recorded and no Alocasia species.

The leaves looked too shiny and thick for Caladium. My first thought was 'Hilo Beauty' too which now apparently is classified as a Caladium: Elephant Ears (Caladium praetermissum 'Hilo Beauty')

Thanks Lin, yes Caladium praetermissum does look like it, only problem is that it is not recorded in Brazil.
In the mean while I have continued searching and I think it is just a variety of Caladium bicolor.

So I think that must be it.. Smiling

A botanist from Jardim Botanico do Rio de Janeiro agrees that this is Caladium bicolor.
