Some time ago I had mentioned that Spanish moss was a tillandsia and actually bloomed. I don't think anyone really believed me, since lots of us have lived our entire lives in the deep south and never saw it bloom. Well, here are a couple of the tiny bright green flowers on my Spanish moss. The brownish thing you see is the seed pod from last springs' bloom. All my moss is starting to bloom.

You'll have to click on the picture to really be able to see these flowers.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.

Thanks for the reminder Ken. I went out and check mine, and found one lonely little bloom. I'll keep an eye out for more now.

I lived in Nederland in (I'm guessing here) 1951-53. Small world.

Yes it is. That was a couple of years before my time. I wasn't born until '58.
