Over the Winter, I noticed my White Bird of Paradise, and my Money Tree (both housed inside), had developed Mealy bugs. I tried to take care of them by using Neem Oil, but the poor B of P didn't do well at all, and is now about to totally croak out. Money Tree didn't like Neem oil, lost alot of it's leaves, and has yet to really recover.
This morning while feeding the birds, I walked around the yard, and noticed I have some white sticky stuff at the base of "three new branches" on one of my Plummies, and man o' man if this is Mealy bugs too...I will scream!!!
My question is, if it is, what is suggested to kill the bugs? Kinda scared to use the Neem oil again on anything actually, after Money Tree incident, I thought it was supposed to be ok to use on Mealy bug infestation on anything, but obviously not everything!!?!!
I'm at work now, so if needed I can upload a photo later today. Thank you for suggestions offered!
