It doesn't quite look the same as the one in the database, but it does look similar to pics I found on the web.

Grows on my farm in Central Florida, along the edge of the woods right beside one of my pastures where it is boggy.

I shifted thru the leaves but no bloom unfortunately.

Definitely not P. sagittifolia.

Don't expect blooms until mid-to-late summer, and then the blooms of P. virginica are inconspicuous.

Since P. virginica is variable, I think you can easily conclude that is what you have. The leave may simply be young and will elongate with time and maturity.
