@Patty brought this to my attention - the Gunther that I have (and shared with some folks at the clinic) may not be correct.
I received it from SMG and its fuzzy and lightish grey green,
Here is mine in early May.

Shall I contact SMG?? Since it is "downy" as his site calls it, and Peter's site shows a satin type. With watermarks. And since it is a German breeder, I'm assuming their info is correct...How to proceed

Sandi - noted! When I contact Don, I am just going to let him know that we don't think its the correct semp. He can choose to do what he wants with it! It is a pretty semp, but it shouldn't be sold as Gunther!

Lynn our homepage is OK - sometimes the provider works on the server....

Gunther has to be totally smooth with brown tips and green watermarks in summer; we've got the plants shown at our photos directly from the breeder;

OK so I will contact Don at SMG @springcolor, are you sure you got yours from Martha and not from me last fall?? Anyway yours looks exactly like mine so it is also wrong. If you got it from Northhills, please contact with Peter's website showing what Gunther is supposed to look like! I am keeping this semp, because it really is a cute one but it is NOT Gunther!
