@dave I tried to give 2 acorns to someone, filled in the number 2 in the box, but an error message pops up saying: "The number of acorns you give must be at least 0.01" Confused
I tried it several times...

I've had that happen to me before, but it was so rare that I wasn't able to replicate it. So I know there is a bug somewhere in there but I haven't found it yet.

When it happens, try just closing the box and opening it back up again and it'll probably work. Or refresh the page.

Would it work if you enter the number as 2.0? Just curious if it wants to see a decimal point.

Just like with me, it's intermittent. I'll fix it one day.

@Jon told me that it happened to him this morning. With it happening more frequently, that actually increases my odds that I'll be able to consistently replicate it, and then I can fix it.

@Bonitin: Did this happen using Firefox?

Yes, Dave I was using Firefox when trying to give acorns, I had been using Google Chrome before but switched to Firefox after Chrome froze so often when trying to submit a photo from my pc to the database, it didn't really help though as Firefox also freezes too often, but that problem has nothing to do with this issue..

There might be something wrong with your computer, Myriam. Every time I click on this thread, my EasySolve software tells me I'm not connected to the Internet. I'm still connected and other threads don't trigger this message, so there seems to be something wrong with the entire thread.

It could well be Zuzu that there is something wrong with my computer, but I wouldn't know where to find the cause or better how to fix it..
Strange how your software tells you're not connected while you are and only in this particular thread!

I just tried to give an Acorn to Wes in the daylily forum, it showed there, but on the home page under Acorns tipped it did not show! I am going to try again!

Well, maybe I just had not noticed how this works, I gave an acorn to Wes then gave another person an acorn, then went back and gave Wes an acorn. So does only the last acorn awarded show?

If you "tip" acorns by clicking on the acorn associated with a post or photo it should show up when you go to the home page. However, if you "give" acorns by clicking on a member's profile page and click on "Give acorns to ......." then it will not show up on the homepage. In short, "tipping" is not treated the same as "giving". Does this explanation help any? (Did you use both methods to transfer acorns?).

In this case I only used the "tipping" method, I think we should run a test, everybody click on give an acorn down below and lets see if it shows up! Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Thank You!
This is a good point! It really never dawned on me that giving and tipping were different things. Now that you mention it though it makes since.

@dave ....I've had a lot of problems with chrome.
