I had a nice Agave geminiflora in a tall pot but it needed repotting and I have put it in a different container. Forming a nice trunk already!
I now have my beautiful tall pot to fill and am looking for suggestions. It definitely will have to be succulents. Ideas??

It's this type of pot and about 28" tall.

I should add that the Agave was not planted in the pot. I have a plastic container that fits nicely inside the mouth and that is what I would prefer to use again.

Hetty,
Some thing with a long tap root. Yucca's has that long tap root system. A nice variegated Yucca should do the trick.

Oh nice idea! Or maybe a Yucca with Kleinia petraea (Jacob's ladder) or Senecio rowleyanus (String of Beads).

Or you can put a big specimen of Crassula Argentea or Crassula Ovata Gollum.

I cannot remember the name now but if that is the color I could see this plant in there. I would like this in the middle with some spillers around to hang down.

Thank you Planto. That is it I could not remember.

That sounds like a good choice too Dutchlady. Just do not do what I did. I planted this plant in this pot because I thought it was cute. Now I might have to take a hammer to it to get it out. Hilarious!

I believe it grew that fast for me. It was this cute little thing, I put it outside the first summer and the second summer and last summer when I brought it in it is 4' tall it comes to my waist. There is no way I can get it out of this little boot. I cannot it grew this large in this small container.

My Mother also put hers outdoors. It seems they enjoy being outdoors. I've read these can literally outgrow your house eventually!

Cinta,
So good to hear you. Welcome back.
That's Red Euphorbia Trigona Tree. Picture of mine in a gutter box on porch.
