However, I have no clue what it is. I would love to say that it is Nightshade. I have pictures of it from both sides of our fence and an up close . It has such a sweet alluring scent when you approach it as well.

It looks like Bittersweet (Solanum dulcamara) to me.

Thanks! In a way I was right. She smells as alluring as datura if not more. My mom said it gets to stay only because its where she wants to put other perennials. Good enough for me.

Well, you were right. It IS a nightshade. Just wash hands after touching & don't let little kids touch it or pets eat it. Big Grin

Whoops, well ive been doing yard work all day. Just relaxing finally and got of the shower about 30 mins ago. I play with and touch my datura all the time and it doesn't bother me. Im not allergic to poison ivy or oak either. So I wouldnt worry. Lol.

It's not b/c of allergy; it's because it's poisonous. It could be deadly if ingested.
