Neal I tried last year but they got mites Thumbs down I'm going to try again this year but I'm also going to take some cuttings from each of the plants as well. I'm going to set them on trays of stones with water as dryness is a big problem in my house. I bring in slot of spider plants too so I'm hoping grouping them together on the trays will increase the moisture.

Would it work to use a systemic on the plants just before you bring them in? Such as the rose systemic?

Yep, I do it every year now when I bring in new cuttings. Works great, no bugs.

Hurray! Hurray! I will definitely be using it when I bring plants indoors this year. I'm a bit anxious to see if I can actually keep some coleus cuttings through the winter. I do have a south facing window to put them in.

I am accepting cuttings from anyone that would like to send them to me. I will reimburse what ever expense, preferably plain priority. I can usually pack a one and half gallon Ziploc bag with long cuttings and nothing else into a Priority mailer;
Priority Mail Box O-1097
11 1/2" x 13 1/8" x 2 3/8"
I usually pay less than $7. including delivery confirmation.
If you mail on Saturday I usually get them on Monday.
Tree mail me for address.

Joann that is a great window and shelf you have.
