Thank you Peter for the info...sorry I should have rephrased what I said. I was told it was from the same hybridizer when I received Tickled Pink and Blade of Steel but it was not confirmed...so therefore I should say it is not known who the hybridizer is. My apologies, that's how misinformation gets started. I'm going to delete my previous entry.

"Hi Peter,
I have spoken to Sue and it is definately NOT one of hers.
I have searched round on the internet and can’t find any record of one of that name.
If the user can get any more, or other, information I will try to help further.
Thank you Peter! Great to have semp friends from other countries!!! Maybe we can figure out where it came from at another time. I will contact my friend at the botanic gardens to see who she purchased it from. It could very well be Surreal Succulents Nursery in England which is the seller Lynn found.
Patty said:SMG used to be Squaw Mountain...is her family still the owners?
Patty,
answer to your ?---No they kept it for a few years after John's death but Mrs H sent a a email to all her customers ( I assume!) I know i got 1 that she was selling and she was going to travel around a bit. Lost contact with them after that.
The owner now is Don ??, haven't dealt with him but 1 time when he first bought the business.

I split this away from the other Semp of the Week thread. This is a topic that needs to stand alone.
Peter, I added one of Sandi's photos to your post at the beginning of the new thread. Hope that is okay with you?
We don't want to lose all the great research on this semp.
Good thinking Lynn, and sorry for derailing the other thread.
I didn't think I would get such a response to my Sea of Tranquility question or I would've just started a new thread.
Thanks Sandi, but I've looked but Sea of Tranquility isn't currently listed. I have bought semps from them in the past and always had nice healthy plants.
