I have enjoyed the videos of your gardens and greenhouse.
It is nice to see how things grow in the south!

Dave and Trish (& kids) - Thanks for posting your videos! I love what you are doing. Everything is looking so wonderful!

You might think this is funny, but the thing I liked the best about the videos ....

Your garden areas look awesome and your hard work is paying off very nicely! BUT ... your videos do not show perfect gardens! Mine are far from perfect. In my garden, there are areas that look really nice, areas that need a little work, and then the areas that need a lot of work. It's nice seeing someone else's videos & pictures showing the REAL side of gardening in all it's honesty. I love that the video does not show a Better Homes and Garden video with immaculate garden areas & plants along with total perfection of your yard and property! Thanks for making me feel better about my yard! It doesn't have to be and look perfect! It just has to make us happy, be somewhat pleasing to the eye (maybe of the beholder), and be functional. I need to smell the roses more and worry less about making it all look perfect! Sticking tongue out Thank You! Thumbs up

What's that saying ... The joy is in the journey! So it is. Smiling

I agree completely. I feel like out on the web there is a lot of, well, I don't want to call it deception, but perhaps unrealistic portrayals of gardens. It's my pleasure to show the good and the "in progress"!!

I agree and I thought the same thing when I watched the video. Sometimes I don't "see" all the mess because that's not what I'm looking for. I just see my work/accomplishments.

Arlene - I like your perspective. (I need a perspective change.) I often see what still needs to be done instead of enjoying what I already have accomplished.

When I first started adding gardens to my yard, my husband was less than thrilled. He said it was too much clutter! (He subscribed to the expansive lawn and bordering shrubs with a tree or two added.) LOL! And maybe it was too cluttered when I first started and was experimenting. But over time, his attitude has changed. As has the rest of my family. Now my husband and I both feel it is our little escape from the stress of work and the curve balls that life can sometimes throw our way. Nice to sit out there in the cool of the shade or late afternoons after work and take a deep breath. And exhale and enjoy! Big Grin

So much variety of vegetables! Love the hydroponic tank.
