I know the name of this plant, but I can NOT remember it. I took this photo on my sons property last year. They grow wild all over our area. Can anyone identify this for me?

There are quite a few Calochortus listed in the database with photo's for comparison: http://garden.org/plants/brows...

Calochortus tolmei? Not sure if it occurs in your area, wherever that may be. You can check USDA Plants, by doing a State Search, to find out:

Just beautiful! It's tolmei or elegans and the location in Oregon will help pin down which. If you can't ID it please add it to the parent plant entries for Calochortus. I tip my hat to you.

Pardon me for saying, but there's probably no need to open it up to all 67 species plus hybrids... Smiling It appears to be either C. tolmei or C. elegans.
