Bluerose.... Hello..
What a paradise you have made! What variety! What 'landscaping'! What colours! And what photos!! Lovely house.... everything is tastefully done. Beautiful. I ran through the set of photos twice, second time more slowly!! So many bird houses. Isn't there a birdbath I wondered. How do you water so many plants? Where was the hosepipe? The 'before' photo had nothing around the house. See what you made!! Lovely.

Dinu, thank you so much for the lovely compliments! I am glad that you like what we have done to our home. We didn't have a bird bath at the time that I submitted the garden tour, but I do now! My kids got me one for Mother's Day last year.

As for watering the plants, there are no hoses in the gardens. We rely on Mother Nature mostly, but sometimes in the middle of summer, like during the drought of 2012, my husband will go around and set up a sprinkler to get the plants through the summer. Flowers can get pretty sparce in August around here and the plants can get pretty ugly and brown at times, but most of them survive.

Have a great day!

Thanks for your reply Vickie. I thought so, going by the greenery of lawns in many of the photos that Mother Nature would be taking care most time during the year. For such a vast garden it could be a job in itself to water the plants. Yours is a lovely place nevertheless, one that I desire to spend hours and hours there!! Each day!! Here summers are pretty warm and at times some plants ask for water twice a day. If we don't give, they wilt by evening. It's so heartening to note that a birdbath has indeed been added in the form of a gift from your gifts [kids]!! :)

June is the start of our new gardening season. Monsoon rains are expected any day now.

Happy gardening and a fulfilling weekend to you!
