I can't enlarge the photos in my caladium article today. Would someone mind clicking on the first photo and see if it enlarges for you? I don't know if I did something wrong or it's just a glitch.

While I was reading it yesterday, I was sad to see that the photos wouldn't enlarge. Crying

Thanks zuzu, I was afraid of that. Now I have to see if it was something I did wrong in entering it. Appreciate your quick response!

Sandi, I noticed too. I have a Mac so when I use Safari, photos won't enlarge. When I use Firefox there is no problem. Thought that might help.

I'm using Firefox and they don't enlarge for me, Sharon.

They don't for me either, Zuzu, but I'm saying Sandi might have used something besides FF when she created the article. Whatever she used isn't letting us enlarge them. I don't think they'll enlarge for anybody

I did use Firefox. So disappointing. I looked at it last night, but didn't bother to enlarge the photos. Today I tried to enlarge the pics on my iPad. They were just distorted. I then tried opening them on the laptop and the desk top this afternoon. I must have skipped a step somewhere!

Someone had the same problem before and was given this reason:
SongofJoy said:
Photos in articles don't usually enlarge if the article is done in the "Advanced form" rather than the "Easy form" where you upload photos directly from your computer rather than drag and drop.

Dave fixed it for the author.

I'm not sure I understand that Danita. I uploaded the photos, and then dragged them to where they needed to be. I can't go back to check my work, because it's gone.

I always use the Advanced form but I went back to my most recent article and the last image is mine and it enlarged, no problem. I don't have any idea.

Did you upload from your computer, Sandi or your iPad?

The main computer. I was helping with a luncheon this morning, but took the iPad with me. I checked the article then and thought maybe the pics didn't enlarge because I was on the iPad. I didn't get home until late and checked again. Then I checked 'em all.

I sent Trish a tree mail, but she's probably feeding the family.

Sorry, I can't give you any help because I haven't used the article-writing forms. I just remembered a similar post where the author was having the same issue. I'm sure Dave will swoop in and fix it. Smiling

Here are the links to the full res. photos, if you wanted to post them in the article comments until it gets fixed properly:

Oh my, that was a lot of work, Danita! I appreciate it, but I think if someone is unable to see the photos in the beginning of the article, chances are they won't continue to the bottom to find the links.

Sharon I let my DH look at this and he said it was Chrome, not Firefox. I wonder if this would have made a difference?

YEP!! Sure would.
I don't use Chrome when I'm formatting articles. I only use FF.

Sandi, it is a really nice article and last night when I read it and realized they wouldn't enlarge, I just looked a lot more closely. I Love Caladiums and I love the ways you used them. The photo thing didn't bother me much, but I also love the enlargements Danita sent. Thumbs up

I should have said Chrome doesn't work for me when formatting images; others might not have a problem with it.
