It is a Nepenthes, Pithcher Plant. If you can show a clear photo of the pitcher, a species / cultivar may be determined.

If I remember correctly, the "pitchers" are modified leaves, so it would be appropriate to click the box for Leaves.

As Kent pointed out, the "pitcher" is part of a specialized leaf.

The photo not being clear, I'm not sure that the plant is N. alata, as there are many hybrids being sold as that.

So in the database i should mark leaf to download a picture of the pitcher on the end of the leaf?

Here's the only other picture i have,if it's not clear enough i will take another.

I looked at the few in the database and the N.ventricosa also looks a lot like the plant i have as far as the pitcher on the end of the leaves. They do have a kind of lid looking thing that's raised above the top.It was also marked Tropical pitcher plant and came from a nursery. It said it was green house grown from tissue culture. If that means anything,i know how label's and plants get mixed up or moved around to sale them. Shrug!

I just want to care for it correctly!! Thumbs up
