Here's my refurbished one... It's starting to tarnish a bit after a year.. Mine was not given a preservative coating like the factory models...And her Majesty..Kits
The little gold beads on top and bottom of the striker was my addition
I was told by a friend that is a piano teacher... That the smaller Hinalayan Echo chimes are in c minor... And the larger chimes I have play C major... So the tone together is pleasing.. I knew it was ... But could never tell you why
Elaine - Thanks for the heads up on the foliage spray routine of every other week!
Gordon - "better to find out early you have a stupid one.. than go to the trouble of raising them.. only to find out later when they are out on their own.."
All your kitties are adorable as well as beautiful. I only have an orange and white domestic kitty. She's not as cute as yours, but I still love her!
Thank you for the wind chime link and the info about wind chimes! I didn't know you could hear them like that online! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I really appreciate it! Nice job on refurbishing yours! I wouldn't even know where to begin to re-string one! You rock, Gordon!!!

All the vines love to use the Brugs for help in corralling the sun. I think the mission of every vine is to some how wrap themselves around the sun and bring it down to them
Well...here's one this evening... It never had a tag I knew of.. So for the last decade or so I just called it Gordon's Best NOID... And it still is
Ok Becky...just so you will feel better.. Just before I took this picture of this Brug with as I counted them as best as I could 170 blooms... I did pick off about 60 yellow leaves ... Getting a bit of magic with all the blooms..and the Super Moon
Gordon - Wow! That is one very impressive bloom flush! It's amazing they can produce so many at once, especially since the flowers are so large! Quite beautiful! I bet the smell is something else, too!
I started adding epsom salt to my liquid fertilizer mix and don't have nearly as many leaves turning yellow any more. Some but not many. No bloom flushes quite like yours though. Such a sight to behold! Thanks for taking those photos and sharing them! I enjoyed it!

That many blooms is amazing on one plant, every summer I wish I had mine in the ground so I planted two of them this year and they do so much better BUT I will have to dig them up before the fall.
Well.Doris... Being in the ground has nothing to do with it... That one with all the blooms. Is in a container..I grow on my roof top as you might remember..so my "soil" is 100% rubber based???no excuses for anyone after that...
Elaine..yes I had the roof deck gardeners over..a few without garden..but an interest always go...and a couple from out of town..doing city things..about 30 in all..I did feel a bit over exposed and over questioned.. But I love it.. Getting to show off plants they had never seen...that brug was starting to open the flush for them...and others..like this one in a small pot.. Maybe 12"
Thanks Becky... Yes the smell is heavenly... With the jasmine and honeysuckle... At night intoxicating
