Can any one tell me what this weed is. I'm so curious because I've not seen it before and now there are millions of seedlings everywhere. Very easy to pull, but soooo many.

Stems are round and purplish. Haven't seen one mature enough to flower. I will try to let one get that far. seems like they have a long way to go for that.

Yes, Danita!!! I think that's what it is! Now I need to find a way to get rid of it (besides pulling it out of all the gardens every day) Thank you for your help.

At least it is very easy to pull, and it is probably keeping some of the other weeds from sprouting. It, and impatiens are welcome weeds in my garden for this reason. They make quick compost, too.
