Actually Thumbs down Thumbs down Thumbs down

I'd love some volunteers!! But seems that the only thing that volunteers in my yard is thistles & milkweed.

They should be easy to root from cuttings, too.

Wow, that is amazing. I literally have thousands of seedlings!! They drive me crazy. Easy enough to pull but it gets overwhelming. In the spring the ground around mine is a thick yellow and I find seedlings all over my yard. Probably from wind and birds. I don't clip the blooms at the end of the summer because the winter birds do eat the seeds. They just don't get near enough of them!

Jennifer - For some reason, I don't get volunteers pretty much from anything. Sad Even my beebalm stays pretty much where I planted it. Only thing that seems to have spread without abandon is my irises & bluebeards. Otherwise, all my salvias, my agastaches, my penstemons.. they all stay where I planted them & don't go anywhere. And I don't deadhead in the fall, so the seedheads stay there & can go wherever they want. But no babies.

Oh, I lied. My catnip is taking over my yard, as is the vinca. It's becoming VERY aggressive...
