In my experience Raspberry Ice blooms more than most of the other varieties I have.

Interesting Lynn!! I find that all my arachs bloom pretty readily! I bought baby star from SMG this spring and he gave me a nice clump of 6 chicks...all but 2 have bloomed out! Now if I were saving the seeds I would be happy Rolling on the floor laughing

I think your observation is pretty accurate Greg. The arach/arach crosses do seem more prone to blooming. I lost almost all of the very generous colony of Hookerii. The entire tiny colony went to bloom right after I planted it. I did the surgery that twit taught me and did manage to save a few offsets from the altered rosettes.

Same here with the arachs blooming. I started a new bed in bright shade and I'm putting the arachs there to see if it helps. Shrug!
