Hallelujah!
I think that's wonderful!
Got bulbs and Brugs to pot-up today.
I'll be looking for someone to do yard work around here.
It's our yearly leaf shedding.
I hope the live oak leaves I've been composting for 7 yrs are really dirt yet?

What a cute baby! And, yes, there's a reason why Mother Nature gives us babies while we're young and still have some energy left.

Ditto what Karen said! I know your pain too well Pheadra! And it's such a good exhaustion. Your grandbaby is such a cutie! He makes me smile!!!

Juanita sent me some brug cuttings and what a great surprise it was. I am so happy now that I will have some gorgeous brug blooms this year.

Have lots of these in the woods right now. They are windflower or wood anemone. Very nice. My azaleas look awful. Between the snow and the deer eating them they are pretty pitiful. So sad since I just planted 20 of them this past Fall. Still haven't recovered from digging the holes. Sad

Oh no! Juanita
Have you tried misting them with eucalyptus? Rolling on the floor laughing
Or perfume? Rolling on the floor laughing
All the hunters I knew hated perfume because it repelled deer.

I've been spraying deer repellent , but unfortunately when we had the 40 plus inches of snow that wasn't an option. What will be will be.

Brin the anemones don't have any scent. I seem to have a lot of wildflowers coming up this Spring. Maybe I always have, just never noticed them. I need to get a good guide, because I am woefully uninformed on identification. Big Grin

Happy Easter all!

The deer drive me nuts, too. Ditto rabbits. Heck, even the birds have stolen my seedlings. I feel like they all meet at midnight and plot who will destroy which plant before daybreak.

Actually Karen they auction off nibbling rights much like we do some hunting permits. Rolling on the floor laughing
The only time I tried to grow veggies the squirrels were the only ones bidding, so they got all that grew. Confused
I'd be too blue if they started in on my play plants. Angry
Any hints on growing our Geraniums, let me know. My alter-ego got carried away on ebay last night, again.
I am so excited. Here these will grow year round. A ten yr. old plastic pearl finish Conch shell planter has been on it's last leg for a year or two. It's still okay from a distance so I told Henry that when that geranium died that I would throw it away. So far it's hanging on.
It's a beautiful afternoon'
Happy Easter.
Sidney
