What process did you follow to add the growers report/list event? It looks like you simply added a comment to the plant in your list.

When I noticed that they didn't go through, I then added the info in the comment section so I wouldn't forget.

I just did one http://garden.org/lists/manage... and it went through fine. Are you sue you clicked the "Add the Event to this Plant" button?

Pretty sure my link will just take you back to your inventory list just like your link took me to my list.

Positive, Sue. I'd thought it strange that when I click that button the fields empty, but I don't get any kind of message saying it's been added; now I know why.

But...I just figured it out.

Yes, apparently a date must be specified. I put today's date in both boxes and it went right through.

i have set-up one growers report and now i am thinking that for some events it would be great to include a small pic. or may be include a link to a lengthier post in the blog for example.
it would make it into a mini-blog of sorts for one plant, but view-able thru the database.
is that hard to do, @dave?

@dave, a suggestion for a couple more categories: Deadheaded (I've been using the Maintenance category for this but find I use it quite often and thought it might warrant its own category), and Winterized (again, I use the Maintenance category but it happens every year and I'd like to track what exactly I do to get a plant ready for winter).

Both are added.
