So I purchased seeds for Lysimachia punctata and planted them but half the plants that are coming up from them are most certainly NOT Lysimachia...

Is it invasive? Weed?
Don't think I want to keep it whatever it is but I do want to know what it is.

If we had no holes in our leaves we would have no butterflies!

This one. I grow it from seed. A wonderful plant. Think it is a biennial.

It's said to be a perennial, possibly short lived (though I expect that could vary). I didn't find it hardy here.

The one I had was started from seed and only lasted two years , did not self sow.
