I planted seeds inside this year for the first time; well, first time for BE Susan. Have nice plants outside now. Seeing your flowers, I can hardly wait for mine to bloom. I don't buy flowers from the nurseries (annuals); just plant my own so I don't have the early blooms like others have up here. But I catch up with my perennial lilies, iris, peonies, dahlias, poppies etc. The Leopard's Bane does flower early and has tons of daisy like yellow flowers. And they last until the ajuga and columbine start to bloom. Oh, and the arabia and aubreita.

I've had Rudbeckia volunteer in my flower beds and love them. I haven't had any luck with the fancy hybrids though.....
