Hoping that multi-plant picture makes it to the database with tags to identify each of the companion plantings! Thumbs up

Frank, is it really that lipstick red? How splendid.

The photos have been cropped, but nothing else. Used an Olympus EP5 with a Panasonic 20mm prime lens.

At any rate, the photos have reproduced the color quite accurately.

So, to answer your question, yes, it is really that red. Thumbs up

Thanks for the registered Apps cultivar name (Endless Heart, 2004) for the unregistered Earlybird Cardinal, Mike. It's great to see a bright red dip (rare enough) that has such nice lineage, and heritage, to it! Thumbs up

Lovely Mike. I just love the look of the northern clumps.

Green, erect and no brown or orange leaves anywhere.

Glen, when those show up I remove them. It's a continuous cycle. As new foliage comes out the old one has run it's course. There is nothing that irks me more than when I take a nice pic to see something in the background to take away from it. That's why a lot of gardeners remove the fading buds first before taking pictures.
