Hilarious! This year I have ZILCH to trade. I do however have a few Palmeto Palm roots I've dig up whole.
Miniture monkey grass and regular. May have some rooted Tuscalero Crepe Myrtles to offer too.
Thumbs up

Begging is always allowed. It's what my DH would say I do best. LOL

Maybe I should re-word things. This doesn't just have to be coleus cuttings, it could be anything.

Now I have to find out what Tuscalero Crepe Myrtles are.

Most Crepe Myrtles are named for Native American tribes.
The Tuscaleros have deep pink/watermelon blooms.
CMs also have great trunk intrest in the winter.
They are hardy in your zone too I think.
My aunt in Flodada has one.

I have never heard of those Tuscaleros, Sunshine. Do you have a photo?

I have a Tuscarora Crape Myrtle, I had 2 but one was in the wrong place for such a big CM so it got yanked.
My Tuscarora is an odd colored pink. It doesn't really coordinate well with regular pinks but has the best huge bloom stalks.

I just love crape myrtles. So many gorgeous colors now.

Hey Brin, I want to beg cuttings of all your new coleus.

At least you still have one. I have lost mine and I do not think I will find it again! Gone but not forgotten, well kind of.

And I am now a klutz. Old age is not flattering!

Kell, do you have a pic of the bloom? I tried to search DG but everything over there is taking way too long to load.

Here's a link to a good PF picture
I have 4 about 15' tall on my side front garden, and another in the back yard about 8'.
I believe I have at lest 2 volunteers.
They are single 2' stalks right now.

I've looked at that pic many times since you posted the link and I really do think that is what my Mom has at her house. I love that CM and have wished many times that I had one just like it. It's such a different shade of pink.

We definitely need to go to Disney and help with coleus maintenance sometime after you get back from Calif. You know Coleus root in just a few days here. I always put them under my overgrown Hibiscus. This year Hibiscus all froze to the ground. I am looking for new shade as I'm having no luck at all rooting Inpatients.
Has left me an almost clean Pallet to work with.

my inpatien seed themselves...although i'm going get some congo's from tom and ken...he just emailed me and said he's ship them when i get back from calif...

i'm NEVER planting them in front of THIS house again until i can create some shade....they are doing fine in the pots...but with a 500 dollar water bill this month...because of a leak in our irrigation system it's just NOT going work for me!!

they started out reallly nice...

sid...get your wet paper towels and plastic bags....cuz...disney here we come...& i remember i'm married to an retired state police dude..so i'm not postin MY pic anywhere!!

it was a good starting point...but i have to get some coleus..in there...see by the canna there's a bit!!

Oops, I didn't see those Thumbs up
I have no idea how high my bill will be this month.
Hope you get that leak stopped for good.
I need to plug the out side hole in every 180º sprinkler head.
They actually spray about 200º.
Just one more chore!
Gotta get off this putter and get something done.
