please tell me what this is..in my flower bed because it came up and is taking over
in a huge long vine..healthy with fruit coming on it..
If it is cantaloupe what do I do to take care of it till the cantaloupes are ready
in 16 weeks or when?

Do I need to have mulch under the tiny fruit as they grow to keep them from getting wet
dirt on the fruit when I water the perennial flowers around this vine and fruit on it?

Yeah, looks like a melon. It won't hurt to get dirt on the fruit but you don't want it sitting on soggy soil so mulch wouldn't be a bad idea. Some people set them on inverted pots.

Listen today I went out and there was this melon or gourd, can anyone tell me what this is...It has been a puzzle for all across the usa..they have said a cucumber
vine, t hen a cantaloupe and now this vine is going up the trellis and this is hanging from the vine off the trellis and more babies on the vine

Do I leave it or pull it all up to die?
I hate to kill anything living..however it is taking over the flower bed
but I can leave it..the rest of the summer..

I guess you will have to let it mature and see what it is. Of course it could be a cross bred between some vining plants.

Could be but it looks just like my baby melons (cantaloupes). If it's in the way just pull it out quickly. Probably be another three weeks to a month before it matures otherwise.
