I am making a tree, man and woman.

They will go up on the brick wall between my side patio. Looking for a evergreen vine to put in a pot to under the pics. I am trying to make interesting wall so I do not just have to look at a brick wall. Hilarious!

Tree pretty bad pic with the new camera. Either I do not know how to operate it or I still need to do more research to replace my stolen cameras.

My man. Will post a pic of the lady later. The arms are moss. I am going to the dollar store and find some dolls to get some hands and shoes.

I still have not found the shoes and hands yet. So it looks like I am going to have to make them. I found a blue plastic purse that I am going to cut out to make the shoes for the girl. The blue plastic matches her tacky accessories. Rolling on the floor laughing

I should have some brown plastic around the house to make the shoes for the boy. They can lay on the ground and get good and rooted for the rest of the summer while I look for hands. I am going to pick up some more semps they have them in pots at the nursery with no names so I can have a fuller plant picture. I am all for immediate gratification. I do not want to wait for it to fill in.

This is the girl.

close=up of her accessories. I found the jewelry and belt at the thrift store for 1.00 and raided my button box and found the flower buttons that matched her belt.

Lynn I am using the plastic nursery trays as backing for the picture. It has the holes to attach the form that I am using to plant in (stockings, since I am not working anymore I found a use for those stockings) LOL. Since it is going to be outside I cannot use wood for the frame. I have cheap plastic molding that I am going to Hot Glue around the picture. If you have seen those cheap mirrors that have brown plastic molding around them you know what I am using. It looks like wood but it is plastic.

Because I wanted the planting mixture to have good drainage and lightweight I did nt use my usual gravel. I used pine needles mixed with potting soil. Stuffed the stockings and arranged the stockings into the shape I wanted for the picture.

Thank you Kate it has been fun. It will be a good conversation piece on the patio walls. It will be so much fun to look at something other than brick walls. What I really like is it will be some decor on the patio in the winter because once the plants are brought in for the winter I can still look out and see something on the walls from the great room window.
