Why do I think that this is another instance of getting family, genus and species confused? Convolvulaceae Ipomoea purpurea is NOT the same as Convolvulacea Convulvulus arvensis. Sigh. One is an innocuous annual (although it will happily and vigorously reseed), the other is a nasty invasive perennial. But I could be wrong. All my neighbors look at my morning glory vines and screech "Don't let them near my fields!" Sigh.
Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.
I have grown both Woofie and the perennial one survives everything !! It may disappear for a while but I guarantee it pops back up. I can understand that being an issue but not the annual one that definitely dies out in the cold and if abused and not watered in the heat. Mine do not reseed easily.
" And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden" Genesis 2:8
Just to be clear, I meant that the idiots who made the law had them confused, not anyone here! We had bindweed where we lived in Oregon, and yeah, it's some obnoxious stuff!
