I would think costus as it is known as spiral ginger and alpinia (shell ginger). Heliconia, I thought, is more commonly thought as lobster claws or false bird of paradise. In my recent shopping, I keep seeing alpinia/costus/hedychium and zingiber being listed as the generic "ginger" group and they are frequently listed in a category labeled as "Ginger/Heliconia" or "Gingers and Heliconia" when heliconia are available for purchase, also.
