I could not find a badge for my region: Arkansas. Is there a way to add this?

I think he's working on individual states, perhaps in response to requests (?) Personally, I like the state badges that symbolize something - the Georgia peach, Colorado Rockies, etc. Mainly because I don't often recognize just an outline of the state, especially some of the more squarish ones. I feel more tuned into my gardening region (PNW) than my state (WA) but that of course differs for everyone, and I have no idea what region Arkansas would land in.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

I have some notes about creating images for microbadges.

krancmm:
>> Dave, in what format (jpeg, png) and how should I send my masterpieces to you?

Dave:
>> PNG with transparent background. E-Mail them to me at [email protected] - if you upload them here the ATP system will convert them to jpeg and that's Thumbs down

>> Also, all microbadges are 32x32 in size.

It must be hard to get a clear image into 32x32 pixels!

Here is an outline of Arkansas someone could work from, but directly copying it might be a copyright violation.
I sent that site a question once, asking about re-using their maps on other websites, but got no answer. They offer 'printable' versions, so they don't seem very concerned about re-use.

It's not a very distinctive state shape, especially after reducing to 32x32.

How about the state flag with the center reduced to just "AR"?

An apple blossom (the official state flower)?

A quartz crystal?
("Mount Ida is known as the Quartz Crystal Capital of the World. "
and "The quartz crystal is the official state rock")
http://www.50states.com/facts/...

A pine tree? (The official state tree)

The honeybee is the official state insect.

The state seal is too complicated for a microbadge, but has some nice individual symbols:
"the Angel of Mercy, the Sword of Justice and the Goddess of Liberty "
"a steamboat, a plow, a beehive and a sheaf of wheat"

I'm always happy to add badges. I can't add Arkansas immediately but if anyone wants to email me one at [email protected] I can expedite the process. It needs to be transparent and exactly 32x32 in size.

If nobody gets one to me by tomorrow I'll try to make it at that time.

This is my best shot, but it's pretty lame.

Is there an artist in the house?

Dave, I'm the one from Arkansas making the request and if possible I think the apple blossom, state flower would be great.

I can't really find a good apple blossom that would look good in such a tiny size.

I've made the microbadge using the flag, and if we ever find a better image in the future I can always replace the current image with the new one. Here's your shiny new badge!

When you upload a photo to a forum it converts it to jpg. That's why I always need incoming badges to be emailed directly to my email so it retains its original format.
