Just wondering what you would say the true color looks like ?
Are the variations due to light conditions in growing or camera?

Grandchildren are my greatest joy.
The color changes as the season progresses. Lighting/time of day the picture is taken also effects the color.

well I like this color but am not to fond of the ones more yellow , would you say this is a yellowish hosta or more like this photo?

More yellow after emerging but turning greener as the season progresses. June does the same thing for me.
