12 miles north of Athens, Texa (Zone 8b)
Zone 8. 2'tall. Mature leaves are dark purple, new leaves bright green. It now has the beginnings of bright magenta flowers and has dark purple grape-like fruit.

Cayenne Pepper (
Capsicum frutescens
)
except for the fruit.
