@valleylynn, back to the original plant in this thread - Rosularia alpestris???? How is yours looking now? Do you think this is a positive ID for this plant? Mine has really multiplied this summer.

Linda - sometimes when the chicks are also "bolting" there isn't much hope that you'll save the plant - I just take it as a loss and consider those ones "annuals" and enjoy the cool flowers - I love when the babies look just like the momma!!

That reminds me... I hate seeing a bunch of chicks blooming out at a nursery and they just leave it there for some poor sucker who doesn't know better to come along and buy it. BIG Thumbs down

Be sure to sever the stolon between the parent and chicks. Cut all rosettes in half, let dry and then replant. Some will survive. Some of the pieces will not bloom for you and should go on to produce normal offsets.
