Cindy,

Lillian's Vapor Trail put on a second set of scapes before the first set was finished blooming. New plant, so I thought that was good. Unless something else reblooms it will get the prize for furnishing the most blooms. I really liked it a lot.

I didn't really expect it to bloom this year Donald. I just acquired it and when it arrived it had scapes cut off. I was surely surprise when I saw a new scape forming.

LVT was new this year. I'm hoping - and expect - it to do better next year. Already there are a couple of new fans. This year the scapes were short compared to registration info, but that has been true on new plants that bloom soon after arrival and has adjusted towards normal the following season. I obviously have high hopes that LVT is going to manage west Texas heat and low humidity Smiling

Plum Eyed Delight is new to me. What a sweet one. So many good ones today it's hard to pick favorite.

It was only 50 here today. Came home from work and it was hard to tell yesterdays blooms from todays. Some of the old ones were still half open and many new ones were a long ways from fully open. Deadheading was a challenge.

Gold Elephant with a couple lilies.

I had these new today. Vensus's Fire and Thundercat. Sorry about the "dirt" background. This is a newly planted bed that as you can see, I still need to mulch. *Blush*

Beautiful blooms everyone.

I have waited so long for my garden to bloom. As usual the first to bloom in my garden leading the Parade is 'Happy Returns'.

Happy Returns - Clump Shot Just look at all those scapes with buds.

Red Ragamuffin - 2nd bloom on RR, new to the garden in May. I think, I'll keep it. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Yes. Don't give up on FL Ragamuffin. It is does well even here in the subtropics. It dies back ever year (as it has now) and then bursts on the scene again with presence.

Gee I like that Red Ragamuffin.
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.

Larry's obsession... It's best bloom in forever, still terrible.

Oh gosh, don't tell me that. Mine hasn't bloomed yet but I think it will this year. I know darker blooms are more prone to thripes so that may be the problem.

Notice that it is mostly the darker colors that seem to have some sort of insect damage. Could it be water damage??? It did rain yesterday a bit.
