Beckenham Place Park and Carl Linnaeus

This incredibly beautiful and historic park is a hidden jewel, 237 acres of pure magic and mystery. I always did find something to stare and wonder at years ago when I first worked in it; I still do on the regular visits I take now. It is simply an enigmatic, awesome and breathtaking place of indescribable beauty set in vast proportions.

Don't give up, Neil. Apathy is what kills. There are a million stories of a handful of individuals or even one individual who made a difference. This article will help, too. I'm totally behind you. I have only been to London and Kew and would be heartbroken to get back to visit country places (my dream) only to find out that this park was gone!!

Great article Neil! Beautiful place and I sure hope it won't be destroyed! How awful that would be!

Neil has recently had surgery and is unable to spend time at the computer for awhile. I just heard from his wife, Sarah, who tells me he's doing well and will be back soon. In the meantime please accept my thanks to you from him.

He does take us to beautiful places, doesn't he?

Lucky you, Boojum, to have visited those great sites.

No need to respond for Neil, Shar, but I just wanted to add my own regrets that this happened to such an ancient and historic place, filled with artifacts and loveliness. Neil, I do hope you and others are successful in your battle against this abuse of public gardens.
