I never tire of seeing cardinals.... or any birds for that matter. Each time I see a bird in the birdbath or the yard is like the first time I have ever seen that type of bird. It's always new feeling.

Oh but Dave ... who doesn't love those beautiful Cardinals?? I never tire of seeing them, or photos of them! I especially love that 3rd pic of the preening Mr and the last one he looks like he's singing! Thumbs up

One of the shyest kind of birds I see is Scott's Oriole...have to take pics from a window in the house, even then they often fly off. Windy today, so even the hummingbirds had trouble feeding. The orioles use this hummingbird feeder when on occasion they do show up.

Linda, the Scott's Oriole sure is a pretty one ... are they year-round residents in your area?

I like those. Love the jay. Some people call blue jays thugs but I really like them; they're such clowns & very curious, also tremendously intelligent.
Saw a pair of tufted titmice today myself. Where was the camera? In here by my computer & of course I was cooking, looking out the kitchen window. Sticking tongue out

Actually, the Scott's Oriole wouldn't normally even be here during the breeding season (we should be a bit too far east of its breeding range), but it's been here on and off since spring. And it was here some last year also. But definitely it won't stay year-round. Too cold in winter here.

Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing I was outside between where 1 of the bluebird boxes is & the Sycamore tree when something caught my eye. It was flying erratically & none too great. It made it to the lower branch of the Sycamore & I saw it had a stub tail. Ah ha! one of the baby bluebirds had fledged. Probably more than one, I bet the whole crew did. Next thing I knew I was hearing all kinds of squawking & carrying on while an adult bluebird kept buzzing me just above my head. I was too busy laughing to move so I kept getting buzzed which made me laugh more which made me unable to move & round & round we went. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

I've been busy lately and haven't had much chance to take pictures. These two are from earlier in the week.

I was outside just a few minutes ago with my camera in hand and a little Hummingbird stopped by some hanging baskets.
