I'm a fan of that too, what I call "parchment paper" or "butterfly wings" depending on its look. There are so many stages inside of one or two days of bloom, and the week or more after when the spent bloom just continues to produce beauty in the garden! Here's my all-time favorite, plus a new one from this week, from my porch pots Green Grin!

Some of mine do that when they are winding up a season of blooming.

Seems to happen also when weather is damp.
