This old trunk was sitting at the dump one day when I took my garbage. It called out my name and said "I would make a great Succulent planter." My husband made a little stand for it and drilled holes in the bottom for drainage, and I thought it DID make a great Succulent planter. So......if you are at the dump one day and something starts talking to you, you should listen. Either that or you might need psychological help, or maybe both. Big Grin

Thanks Leon and Cinda! The little bird is a Tree Swallow and it and it's family live in the big birdhouse in my main garden. This is the second year they've come here and I love having them, they are beautiful and they have such personality. I put off cleaning out that part of the garden because they were nesting and I didn't want to scare them off. It was hard to catch up with the garden because everything had gotten so big by the time they were settled in their nests but it was very much worth the extra effort. Smiling
