just stumbled on this site: it's puerto rican. so they say they ship USPS to mainland US - no customs/no usda inspection. the plants are checked locally prior to shipment at usda station. they have a lot of unusual tropicals. they have some nice alos (and many other tropicals like hibiscus/plums/adeniums...) they say they ship from asia/thailand and acclimatize plants 1st in PR due to the fact that some plants do not do well when xferred direct to americas from asia.
this can be a good source for new imports from asia, especially for florida growers, since it's less to ship close. i wonder if anybody here ever considered shipping from puerto rico or even had any experience doing it?
the site works funny: you need to position the cursor just so until you see 'the pointing finger' - otherwise the plant tab does not load the page.
