Historic Greenwich and the Royal Park (Part 2)

By NEILMUIR1
June 22, 2010

I hope you enjoyed Part 1 of my articles on this amazing place. To those of you who have been to Greenwich, some of the places are recognizable instantly, some are not. A lot of people travel thousands of miles and never actually get to see what the Park, the Royal Naval College or indeed Greenwich has to offer. If you ask most people if they have ever seen the Roman remains in the Park, they have no idea there were any!

What a second great article, Neil---- you outdid yourself again! I tip my hat to you. Beautiful photos and explanations throughout your tour; just Love all those trees! I think I Know why General Wolfe has his back turned--- he doesn't want to watch what they're going to do behind him! Sad Thanks for your great Tour~

Dear Connie, thank you for your most comments. I don't know why I bother sometimes; nice 20 mile walk with a rucksack as I do not believe in Cars, and nobody apart from a few bother to read it, or even comment on it at all.
Hugs I am not happy!

Oh Neil, it is just wonderful and you know. I think you thrive on doing these articles and most of us, in fact, me would never be able to see it EVER lest it is through your eyes.
