I remember it well. A family holiday dinner in the 90's attended by an aunt who was a plant snob.
If anyone remembers the show 'Lou Grant' one of the characters was Mrs. Pynchon, played by Nancy Marchand, and my aunt looks just like her. Everything with her was 'rare' and she always had to name price paid. So, we're at the table and she starts, "did I mention that my friend brought back the most unusual orchid that is so rare, I doubt that more than 3 people in the world have it. yada, yada, yada. Before coming up for air she says, I just added to my hemerocallis collection and bought Bela Lugosi from the newest upstart, Mr. Hanson. Of course I had to pay $50 for but ...yada yada yada. My young nephew asked if he could come over to visit as he's never met Dracula before and was told he was dead. lol
