I absolutely love Mantas and Sherries. The Citrinas are darling too. I like the smaller growing types, as I grow them as houseplants. The Manta really won my heart with those bat-wing leaves! And the tiny, 1 inch blooms are just too cute. I'm planning on ordering one soon, as I missed a single watering on mine once too often, and it went ka-poot in a matter of hours! That's the only thing that I don't like about the passies--you can't be late on a watering, and they like lots of it!

Me too Holly! I'm in the midst of getting all my non hardy plants ready for the greenhouse. I always shoot for the last week in October to have everything squared away.

We usually do a bit of traveling at the beginning of Oct so I always feel a crush at getting them inside when we get home. I have way too many big tropical plants. Each fall I say I need to cut back and each spring I can't seem to say no. The Passi was my only purchase of big tropical plants this year. Not too bad. I just couldn't resist it and it has really put on a show. Oh I almost forgot the other large plant that needs to go into the greenhouse is the maple that I was given this spring. It was dormant when I got it and I am wondering if I can let it go dormant instead of giving it GH space and there is the Voodoo Lily I was given last winter, I'll let that go dormant and it won't need GH space either.

Some of mine are just starting to show up. They are slower than the last couple of years since we are still having nights in the low to mid 50's. I finally got a P. mollissima to germinate! It's still tiny but I'm thrilled.

I just got P. vitifolia for my birthday from a friend! I have not seen any for sale in my area so I was thrilled to found one. Can't wait to see it bloom!
