Have you had the same experience ? - you see a photo of someone's blooming iris and it stirs feelings of "I want!" ?
I've had to struggle with the IWants ! Just saw a pic of the iris Emblematic, a recent offering of Joseph Ghio's. Stunning!
Maybe next year?
In the meantime, the orders are arriving and I look forward, happily, to sore muscles!

Iris is the goddess of the rainbow.

HaHa....Oh yes, in trying to get rid of that feeling of having to grow everything, I do not even think of looking in nurseries now....if I don't see it, I don't want it. But everytime I see a new plant pic posted, I'm thinking, "Oh, I need to have that....."
I could be wrong...
and.....
"maybe I should have kept my mouth shut....."

It certainly is the truth...lol..

We moved up here 8 months ago and before we moved I'd decided that I just can't do all of this anymore...just gonna have trees and my riding mower. HaHa...already I've acquired more than I have room for and I'm spending all my time digging out sod and planting every square inch.
I could be wrong...
